In order to develop new professional and personal skills in technology and counter the challenges and opportunities facing the society in general and engineers in particular, the IET (UK) Younger Member Section, Chennai Network and Dr. M.G.R. University, Chennai have taken the initiative to organize the two day event “NOVIDADE -09” (Innovative Project Competition) during 17th and 18th April 2009 at Dr. MGR University, Chennai, India. This event provides an excellent opportunity for Student to discuss and review the benefits of developing fresh ideas and grow professionally through practical based experience.
The overall aim of the event is to give a future research direction as a Grand-Challenge and establish a new technology in engineering and technology field for developing secure and safe systems effectively. This two-day event has a more practical focus, using parallel, interactive sessions to allow the participants to experience unique activities and consider how these new ideas could be integrated into practical applications.
Students and professionals from various colleges in India are participating in “NOVIDADE -09” (Innovative Project Competition) in a big way. The organizers wish to bring together an impressive group of decision makers from Government bodies, Institutions of international repute as well as from the private agencies, all with full ownership in their respective fields within the various fields of engineering.
